Norwegain Konfirmationsattest (Confirmation) Certificate issued to Arnt Martinius Andersen, dated 14 January1909. Written in Norwegian are details of Andersen's date of birth: 15 March 1889 and the names of his father Arnt Ole Andersen and mother Anne Mathea Mathias[...] (Mathiasdatter Olsen).
Arnt Martinius 'Martin' Andersen arrived in Australia in 1923. In 1927 he married Mary Pauline 'Girlie' Gallagher and the couple had two son Jack and Ernie. In the late 1930s the Andersen family moved to 64 Gloucester Street The Rocks, renting the two bedroom terrace until 1949 when they moved to 58 Gloucester Street. Both of these houses are part of a row of four terraces called Susannah Place.
