A printed, single page letter addressed to "Mr. Arnt M. Andersen / 58 Gloucester Street, / CITY." in regards to "NOTICE TO ATTEND FOR INTERVIEW" in connection to his application for a pension. Sent from "A. V. AFFLICK / Director of Social Services".
Arnt Martinius 'Martin' Andersen (1889 - 1963) and his wife Mary Pauline 'Girlie' and sons Jack and Ernie moved into 58 Gloucester Street; part of a row of four houses called Susannah Place, in 1949. Prior to his retirement Martin worked as a ship's carpenter at Garden Island.
