Description
This dish was used by June Wallace’s great aunts for preserves or marmalade. June explained that this dish was too deep for butter and went on to say that ‘butter was always served in a shallow glass dish with a curl and a stripe. (They had butter pats). The Macgregors never bothered with that and they never did that!’.
