'Port Jackson NSW View from Lady Darling Point' 1847, by George Edwards Peacock. This oil painting shows the township of Sydney looking westward from Darling Point. The natural landscape of Darling Point is featured in the foreground, and beyond that, the ridgeline of Woolloomooloo depicting the villas of wealthy merchants and officials, and the expanding township of Sydney.
