Description
Double-ended Greek Revival sofa in cedar (Toona ciliata), c. 1835. The shaped backboard features a central cresting of scroll & sheaf design. The scrolled arms take the form of stylised cornucopias. The sofa is raised on turned feet, all on brass castors. The replaced upholstery includes a squab seat cushion and pair of bolsters.
