Description
This is an off-cut of a wallpaper purchased at the interior design shop owned by Marion Best Pty Ltd in Woollahra, Sydney. The design was typical of the wallpapers favoured by Marion Best Pty Ltd during the 1950s and 60s. Although it was hand printed, it was not particularly expensive as it was only a two colour production. The wallpaper was used in a bedroom in a house in Bondi Junction, Sydney, and was still in place when the owners moved some 10 years later.
