Parian ware vase, made by Bevington, England, circa 1860-1870
Description
Parian ware vase with a shaped pedestal base with corners decorated with scrolls to the foot and ram's heads to the upper edge, linked by applied swags. The vase has a circular flaring foot, ovoid body and a long, narrow neck, it's rim has a pointed edge. The vase has a pair of handles in the form of branches. The body is decorated with applied clusters of grapes, leaves and tendrils.
